In Memory of Chief Greg Thompson
Greg Thompson was truly a good man. He was a role model for the fire service. He was a man that lived life to its fullest. A man who worked and played hard, but only after he made sure that everyone around him was well taken care of. He was something to everyone. To every member of South Bay Fire Department he was a leader, mentor, teacher, brother, and friend. Greg was always a friend. He was a friend to everyone and everyone, he never stopped caring. He always had his home open, it was everyone’s place of refuge. A place where you knew you could go and be cared for.

How to give: People can either write a check to the Association and note the memorial fund or stop into any Heritage Bank location and ask that the funds go to South Bay Fire Association "In Memory of Assistant Chief Greg Thompson ".
Heritage Locations: The account was set up at the Downtown location on 5th, but people can donate at any of the Heritage locations.

Where the funds will go: The family is in the process of selecting one or more charities that Greg would have supported.
Monitoring the fund: Association Treasurer, Sean Murphy will monitor funds and work with the family to make sure they are controlled.
