We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant who’s ready to support our department’s operations—and grow into a key leadership support role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the District Secretary to manage financial, personnel, and administrative functions

  • Prepare and maintain the department’s accounts payable system in compliance with BARS and state regulations

  • Assist with budgeting, audits, and public records

  • Support IT systems and digital communications, including website updates and troubleshooting

  • Help lead community outreach efforts and manage the department’s social media presence

  • Engage with the public through events and education

  • Learn the full scope of the District Secretary’s responsibilities to serve as a reliable back-up when needed

What You Bring:

  • A passion for public service and community engagement

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Experience in social media, IT support, and public sector operations

  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to grow through training and mentorship
